Things have been busy 'round these parts but I have not forgotten this blog. After all, it's only 6 more weeks until I return back stateside and then REALLY won't have anything exciting to post! Oh gosh, I haven't even thought about the future of this blog post-Japan. Yikes!
Anyway...Shawn and I have had a very busy few weekends. Most recently we took a trip to Kyoto, the quintessential destination of traditional Japan. And it did live up to our expectations. There were temples, shrines, Japanese gardens, tea houses, kimonos, etc.
More to follow this weekend. I have to get through classes tomorrow and then it's a free weekend to lounge around and post long blog entires with pictures!

Wow, I know what you are saying. Your pictures are an exact portrayal of what I would expect traditional Japan to be like. So cool! Oh, and don't worry--you'll find stuff to post on your blog after Japan. I mean, look at us! We have a simple, ordinary life in every sense of the word and yet we still post on our blog. Amazing--amazingly boring:-)
