Back in America

It's been a very long trip home and eventful first week in America. I've been in three states - Oregon, Idaho and Arizona. Adjusting to the food has not been a pleasant experience at all!

Although my experience in Japan is over, this blog is not. It will take a new form with new topics and insights as Shawn and I begin our new life in Portland, Oregon!

Sayonara

Well, that's it folks. We spent our last night in Oita at a giant festival in our traditional Japanese yukatas. It was a bittersweet night and a perfect way to culminate our year in Japan.
